Profile

Azzurra Spirito is a process designer engaged in the development of innovative online and offline practices for communities and network systems. She supports the development of vision-oriented innovations, based on future&foresight methods, to unlock the transformative potential of contexts and respond effectively to the evolution over time of challenges and sectors.  Thanks to the design thinking approach and system design tools, she facilitates the (re)design of innovative models, processes and services in order to facilitate the realisation of the visions developed.  She worked for 5 years at SocialFare | Center for Social Innovation, the first Italian centre entirely dedicated to social innovation. Today she is a freelancer who mainly works in the team augmentation model collaborating with organisations such as Guido Carli University in Rome, the Giangiacomo Feltrinelli Foundation in Milan and Techsoup. Among the main areas of experimentation in which she applies her work is the management of the ecological transition, innovation in healthcare, the development of processes in the field of Responsible Research and Innovation, and innovation in education.
